Corrections and Changes: Best VPN India Change Log 2026

This is the change log of Best VPN India. It lists corrections and larger changes in the order they were made, newest first. To report a mistake, write to contact@bestvpnindia.com. How we work: how we compare VPNs, how we use AI.

3 November 2026

  • Corrected the email address on the Contact page: it showed an address that was not monitored. The working address is contact@bestvpnindia.com.
  • Changed the button label “Get Started Free” to “See plans” on NordVPN and ExpressVPN buttons. Neither service has a free plan, so the old label was misleading.
  • Removed links that used a general word (for example “malware”) as the link text for a security product.
  • Added the pages on methodology, use of AI and this change log.

2 November 2026

  • Removed prices in rupees from the guides, because we could not read the providers’ current rupee prices from their official pages that day. Guides now send you to the provider’s pricing page.
  • Removed claims about speed, “fast” servers and support response times that we had no source for.
  • Corrected the comparison of RoboForm, LastPass and NordPass against each provider’s own pages (zero-knowledge model, sharing, emergency access, free plan limits).
  • Merged the page on ProtonVPN prices into the ProtonVPN review.

31 October 2026

  • Reduced the site to the guides readers actually use. About 935 thin or near-duplicate pages were removed or redirected to the closest guide, including the Hindi section.
  • Removed pages about torrenting and instructions for getting around regional blocks on streaming services.

30 October 2026

  • Removed discount claims we could not verify (for example “70% OFF”) from buttons and text.
  • Removed “tested” wording from titles and descriptions where we had not run a test.

29 October 2026

  • Removed affiliate links to Surfshark and the pages that explained how to get around regional blocks on Netflix.

21 to 23 October 2026

  • Removed named author profiles, invented test results and measurements. Earlier versions of some guides presented them and we could not support them. Guides are now signed “Best VPN India Editorial”.
  • Removed recommendations of Atlas VPN, which closed in April 2024.
